EFG

National Farmers’ Union (NFU)

Robyn Munt’s journey with the NFU is a true example of how passion, knowledge and commitment to farming can develop into strong leadership. What started as a few policy discussions and local meetings, quickly grew into a valued and respected voice across the region. Robyn’s willingness to engage, ask the right questions and offer clear, practical insight marked her out as a natural leader.

Her election as Chair of the NFU South Regional Board in February 2024 is a reflection of the confidence and trust that members and colleagues have in her. Robyn continues to represent farmers with clarity, determination and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our sector. The NFU is proud to support her in this role and we know she will continue to champion farming interests across the South with integrity and strength.

Wight Rural Hub

We are delighted to work with Robyn Munt as part of the Future Farm Resilience Fund, delivered in partnership with Natural Enterprise. Robyn brings over a decade of experience supporting farm businesses across the Isle of Wight and played a pivotal role in the development of Wight Rural Hub since its launch in 2022.

Her in-depth knowledge of agricultural policy, schemes and their practical application is a vital asset as Island farmers and landowners navigate the challenges of the Agricultural Transition. Robyn’s hands-on, farmer-first approach ensures that the support provided through the national Defra-funded programme was relevant, accessible and impactful.

Robyn led the programme of events and one-to-one interventions, helping to equip our local farming community with the tools and information they needed to build resilient, sustainable businesses for the future. Her commitment to the Island’s rural sector and her understanding of its unique context make her an invaluable resource for all those involved in land-based businesses.
